| 23 July 2008 | I picked up the last of our east coast arrivals at Phila international last night. She is a young b/m silver, EXTREMELY pretty. If she moves she is a best in show type of pretty. She made the trip well. no accidents in her crate at all. We got home about 1AM so I let her potty in the front yard and put her to bed with dinner of kibble mixed with canned food and a couple drops of warm water. She ate it all and settled in very nicely sleeping until this morning with her head on her teddy toy. I dropped her off at my local grooming shop so she can get a much needed bath and be monitored during the day. I had to go to work today and didn't want to leave her unsupervised at home. She doesn't walk on the leash at all but I will work on that in a few days. Overall, she is a treasure. I love her already. I am still thinking of names but will let you know when she has one. I'll work on scheduling a vet appt today. --- The silver girl I brought home last night has a "spa day" at canine clippers today. She is clean and clipped now. What a. beautiful bitch! She is quiet as a church mouse and there are no aggressive behaviors, even when you have to drag her out of the crate. She likes to be petted but you can tell she is scared. She still isn't thrilled with going in a crate or walking on a leash but I have faith that will change soon. I introduced her to another bitch tonight, and we will be going for a walk together later.
