"Shay is a 14 month old, black masked cream who was rescued with the Chambersburg "Kids". She's a very outgoing girl who's getting caught up on the puppy-hood she never got to have. She loves other dogs and is well on her way to being housebroken. When she came to live with us she had a bacterial skin infection, ear infections and a terribly matted coat. She's recovering nicely and has learned to tolerate grooming and bathing easily! Unlike many of her other relatives who had to be clipped down, we were able to save much of little Shay's coat, she's a sweet girl who loves people~if you give her a few minutes to warm up.

Shay loves to play, and listens better than most of her foster home brothers and sisters! She's got a very reliable recall and will excel with some obedience training. Shay is not a chewer or a barker, and is extremely attentive to commands. She's also become quite a "cookie monster" and LOVES to get her cookies for going outside, every "new" experience to Shay is amazing!! This little girl has won her "foster dad's" heart and everyone she's met, she'll be a wonderful addition to her forever home."  (3/11/2007)
