It appears that almost all of the Afghan Hounds in this seizure were bred by the Kellers.

Caje is a very sweet 2 yo male that the Kellers acquired, who has now been returned to his co-breeder.  Caje is an example of responsible breeders and Rescue working together for the benefit of the dogs.

Please do not inquire after the identity of the breeder/co-breeder of this dog...it is not AHCA Rescue policy to release this information.  Caje is one dog which will not be a financial burden to the Rescue community, and has a co-breeder who wants him back.   Rescue is not just a rehoming-entity, it is also a way of getting dogs back to where they belong.

Caje's footpads are still very soft and pink, and he steps gingerly.  The caked matter and matts from which he suffered prevented his pads from touching the ground.

Caje now enjoys being clean and living in a clean environment!
